The Fork-SAFE Pedestrian Alert is designed to notify both the
vehicle operator and pedestrian that they are within close
proximity to each other.
The Pedestrian Alert operates on a RF (Radio Frequency)
communications system. Both the pager unit (pedestrian) and
the fixed unit (vehicle) are tuned to specifically listen for each
other. When either device hears the transmitted frequency of the
other, the pager unit starts to vibrate/beep, and the fixed unit
starts to beep and flash a highly visible LED. |

As an added function, the Vehicle unit is able to notify the
operator when another vehicle is within a close proximity. The
function can be set to beep and flash LED, flash LED only, or
disabled as your company requires. The additional ability to
connect an external light or buzzer to the unit assists in noisy
environments. |
